Hi

We are going to Perth on a 457ie visa, can anybody tell me if we can buy a house on this visa.

If we xcan buy a property on a four year temporary 410 ritirement visa (with government permit) then surely you can.

I'm on a 457ie visa and the answer is yes.

Try this link www.firb.gov.au

Basically you can buy any house but you must stipulate in the contract that you can only buy with approval from the FIRB(foreign investment review board). This takes up to 30 days.
