Default Bundaberg

Hi all, we have the chance to go to bundaberg with a job offer. Two very quick questions...

What is the area like, housing etc and what are the best public and private primary schools?

Obviously more questions and answers to follow.

Thanks in advance

I worked in Gladstone on the LPG gas plants being constructed on Curtis island. we used to go down there for the odd night out .cane cutters. its a hick town full of red necks mostly. Bargara is nice though lots of newer housing there and better schools realestate.com.au and have a look at the map of the coast line.

Dear kjm081,

We had freinds who lived in Bundy (as they called it) for a year. They were happy enough there but did identify it is some way from Brisbane and does have a country feeling to it.

During our rekkie this summer we passed through and stopped for supplies: it has some large shopping developments, a pleasant older part of town, and a bit of urban sprawl - not very different to many towns outside the major cities.
