Buget but clean family room in Brisbane
We would love to go down to Brissie for the riverfest, but as we have 2 young kids it might be better to stay overnight so we can see the fireworks on the sat night but can also enjoy the other events going on on the sunday. It would of course save the journey down there and back in the one day.
Wondered if anyone can suggest somewhere with 1dbl bed and 2 singles, close to CBD, so can walk to river/southbank, nothing fancy but clean and the cheaper the better!!
Thanks, Carley

Are you talking about Stourbridge uk or Peregian/Noosa? If your saying its a long way from Noosa to go to, i take it its not that good of an event! Maybe i better forget it, i had heard its supposed to be fantastic, and we havnt actually been to Brisbane since arriving so killing 2 birds so to speak.

River Fire is definetely worth a visit if you haven't been before. Gets massive crowds. Famed for its 'dump and burn', but you should be able to avoid that if you give the Dagwood Dogs a miss.
There a decent little hotel down the road from where my wife works, I'll find the name. Not a recommendation but might be worth a try. Make a weekend of it. Its just off the River where it all happens, by the William Jolly Bridge.

Hi There
Tried replying yesterday but system down for maintenance. We stayed at the airolodge on Kingsford smith drive hamilton. Very clean and tidy queen bed and separate room with two singles. www.airolodge.com.au.
Very near City Cat stop and walking distance with three young children.
