Yes, I was really pleased for her too - what an achievement!

(The only problem is, every time I see her on TV/hear her on the radio, I keep thinking she's that woman on 'Dead Ringers' who impersonates her so brilliantly...)

Anya.

Wadyawant - Illuka Yanupingu and his stringy bark tri-hull team?

Boatspeed is one of the premier boat building yards in Australia run by Peter and Sari Ulrich - Peter was involved with the construction of the high-tech 18' Skiffs and Sari is only the fifth woman to have trained as a boat builder in Australia. Boatspeed have constructed many racing and cruising boats over the years including the Hugh Welbourn designed 'Bols' (93' Maxi) and 'Heaven Can Wait' (50' IRM) and Bruce Farr designed 'StingX' (49' IMS) and 'Ragamuffin' (50' IMS).

Congratulations to Ellen, again.

However, I was wondering why this has been posted on the Australia forum? Shouldn't this be in the Lounge for all expats to enjoy? (Also, I can't see the connection with Oz, apart from the boat builders.)

Regards
Alistair

She swam behind all the way?

A day of doldrums or two and all the sleeplessness and efforts of many would have been in vain.
