Brita Water Filters - Where sells them?
Does anyone know where sells these filters http://www.goodnessdirect.co.uk/detail/964616b.jpg at a reasonable price here in Australia? I've only seen packs of 2 in Target and they were, well, they were a rip off! lol

Hi Jen- how are you doing? If you found them in Target, you might find them in BigW, but I doubt they'll be much cheaper.

They're about the same price everywhere. You can find them in the supermarkets as well as Target, Kmart and Big W. The cheapest I have found is about $11/each when buying a pack of 4. Try here as well.

We got ours from Woolworths, think they were $20 for 2, Aldi also sell them but from memory I don't think they were much cheaper.

I'll be making mine last longer then too! Saw a website, quite by accident on how to create your own water filter using the old plastic container filled with new charcoal, looked a bit complicated tho lol

Re: Brita Water Filters - Where sells them?
We've not found the official filter carts for much less that $10 each. We bought some 'compatible' cartridges from either Kmart or Target (can't remember which) and they were terrible. Gave the water a really acidic taste, virtually undrinkable. They weren't that much cheaper either.
Sorry I can't be much more help!

I may have some good news, K Mart are doing 'universal' water filters for $8 for two, they feel the same thru the wrapping, I'll keep u posted on whether they fit or not, but here's hoping, quite a difference between $22 and $8!!!

We used to use the universal ones in our Brita Filter jug in the UK. Same thing only cheaper.
