Brisbane Short Term Rentals - Any reccomendations?
Hi folks,
Was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for short term lets? Was thinking it would be a good idea to book 4 weeks in a holiday let so that we'll have somewhere to sleep and eat while we wait for the container to arrive.
I've had a look at Mrs D's and it seems fine. Anyone got any other ideas/suggestions.
Would appreciate it.
Cheers
Ginny

Ginny here are some of the other places that I suggest when we are fully booked & people enquire.....
www.brisbanebound.com - like our service, but pay for phone & internet & electricity
www.seqrents.com.au - look at the short term rental part, most are apartments close to the city but not as suitable for families as say a house
www.gatewayvillage.com.au - cabins available from around $700/week for 2 adults (extra for any children staying)
http://www.brisbaneholiday.com.au/ - cabins available from around $650/week for 2 adults + 2 children
(friends have stayed in the cabins & whilst adequate for a couple of nights, they found them extremely confining after a week)
The other place I can suggest is Pelicans Nestle Inn which is right on the waterfront at Wynnum, they have 1 & 2 bedroom apartments. They dont have a website, but their contact details are Pelicans Nestle Inn , 145 The Esplanade , WYNNUM QLD 4178 Ph + 617 3396 3214. I believe they are around $800-900/week.
Hope those help.

we didn't think like this when we came but we could have saved ourselves a lot of time and money if we had. If you are not sure just book a short time in case you decide to live somewhere else

We're going to be based, employment wise at Nathan so in and around there would be nice but there's a few other factors that we need to consider. Daughter has High Functioning Autism so need a school that can accomodate and Hubby's a dialysis nurse so hospitals would be good. Having to use a shard container so belongings won't get here straight away. Hence the reason we want holiday accomodation for a few weeks.
We're not a fussy lot, honest!
Cheers
