Default Brisbane schools - dyslexia

Hi there,

OK - I'm starting my research re schools - I understand that most schools work on catchment areas. But I was wondering if anyone in Brisbane has moved there with a dyslexia child and have any advice for me. My child will be 11 when we move.

Thanks to fish & dadagain(i think - need to look back)who have posted school lists.

I would just like to know your experiences - you can pm if you want.

I know that in Queenlands they go to secondary/high school in year 9 - so what exams do they take and in what years.

Also - do we need any transfer certs from previous schools? Or what info do the schools require.

Thanks in advance
Poitin & family
