Bloody freezing, isn't it? I've been dreading the start of the long hot summer, but now I'm wondering where it is!

I'm heading to WA tomorrow on holibobs. I checked the forecast thinking it would be much warmer that side of the country only to be pleasantly surprised.

Yep UV is that strong. From home and office windows as well.

Nice breeze with the heat today, turns NW tomorrow, furnace heat.

Past 2 days the gardens have gone brown, the palms are all dropping leaves and the pool water evaporated 3 inches since sunday.

Heatwaves used to be more jan/feb, november is very early to have high 30's as predicted sat/sun. Not good.

:p:lol: If it wasn't that the trains don't run early enough, I'd move and commute!

Only worth commuting if you live in the top third of the coast imo and I don't think the climate up there is much different from Brissie.

I hesitate to mention this but, as I rise from sitting in a chair for longer than five minutes there is a large wet patch left behind. Is that normal?

Brisbane has had a lovely day. We were down for a swim by 7am and home by 10am for fruit platter and a little later lunch, followed by an afternoon swim and dinner on the deck at friends' place. Just arrived home at 10.30pm and still got a sleeveless top on and am loving it, I love the heat.

I think if I could afford a place with a pool it would be bearable, but thats a dream I will never achieve :(

We don't have one, just went to the Southbank pool in the morning and friends pool in the afternoon.
