We live in outskirts of Brisbane and love it, wouldn't have chosen to live near a busy big city but like others have said Brisbane is a city without the over the top commercial/business side still very nice and friendly. We could def recommend it and have no intentions of moving on as have put our roots down here and starting to make friends both British and Aus.
