bricklayer wanting to know time scale!!!!!!!!!
visa application was lodged last week. any ideas how long we are looking at before we will be out there? im hoping to come out as a general skilled migrant (bricky) with a wife & 3 kids. i have also got cousins that are sponsoring me.
any feedback would be appreciated.

MY VISA APPLICATION WENT IN EARLY JANUARY, SENT THE MEDICALS IN APRIL BEEN WAITING SINCE THEN TO HEAR ANYTHING ELSE THATS 11 WEEKS SINCE DIMMIA GOT THE MEDICS AND POLICE REPORTS. GOT STNI SPONSERSHIP DECEMBER LAST YEAY. UNDER STNI SPONSERSHIP ALL SHOULD BE DONE BY MIDDLE OF JULY.
EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT SO TIMES ALTER.

I HAVE AQUIRED STNI SPONSERSHIP TO ADELAIDE SA.
YES WE WAITED FOR THE MEDICALS TO BE REQUISTED BUT THE POLICE CHECKS WE DID A MONTH IN ADVANCE.
POPPED DOWN TO OUR LOCAL STATION, AND THEY CONTACTED A EXTENTION NUMBER, WHICH WE LEFT OUR NAMES, D,O,B AND ADDRESS ON AN ANSWER PHONE. THREE DAYS LATER THE FORMS WERE ON THE MAT, FILED THEM IN THE SAME DAY, BIRTH CERTS AND A CHEQUE FOR £10-00 EACH, SENT OFF. 4 DAYS LATER THE REPORTS WERE WITH US.
YA GODDA LOVE THE SOUTH YORKSHIRE POLICE FOR BEING SO ON THE BALL.
GIVE US SOME INFO AS TO WHAT STAGE YOU ARE AT.
