Bought a Car
We bought our first car today, it's only a small runaround until we get the $$s rolling in, but maybe it would do for our eldest to learn in eventually.
Can't belive the trouble we had to get it though. We needed three pieces of recognised ID to register the vehicle. The car dealer up in Chermside couldn't do anything as we only had 2 items, we are still waiting for Medicare cards etc, so we had to travel all the way down to Cleveland to get the Queensland Tranport people to authorise everything and give us a CRN.
BTW made it through the Gateway toll booths passed the burnt out car transporter and the traffic the other way was hideous, we got off at the Old Cleveland Road exit and the traffic in the other direction was solid as far as we could see! Glad I wasn't heading northside.
Anyway, car is sorted, just need somewhere to live now, and a job!
