Default Re: Books

Hi. I had the same concerns with my stamp collection (sad I know...). But I have lots of binders full of stamps, and was concerned about the affects of moisture/humidity etc, especially with the glue on the stamps.

The binders were packed in bubble wrap, cardboard wrap, box, absolutely fine when over here. had to specify for insurance but that was all.

Good luck, I have quite a lot of 1st editions too, and they were put along with my 'cheap' hardbacks in book boxes, again no problems.

We shipped about 50 boxes of books and they all arrived in good condition.

Maybe you could put some of those sachets in each box that soak up damp and humidity.
