Hi all
I have been left a BMW 530E it has only 50,000 miles on the clock and previously owned by a little old lady. The car sails through its MOT with no probs.
The dilema i have is, does anyone think it is worth transporting down under with me? How much does it cost to transport? What further cost once i get it down under?? If it was yours would u take it??
Good luck to all that are trying
Regards Chris and Andrea

I was quoted £3500 to transport plus £10,000 import duty ( I think this represents 30% of the cars value in Australia WHEN NEW). I believe if the car is over a certain number of years old it is considered a classic and the tax % drops.

Best of luck.
