Yup, seen a few of those this spring travelling south with their babies, come in quite close to the shore as well. Oh and dolphins in the creeks. - The Gold coast has it all

We get them off the coast of Victoria in the winter

We were Whale, dolphin,turtle and kangaroo watching in Brisbane area in August off Stradbrooke Island didn't see any sharks though.

Whale watching is a big business in WA.Go down to the shipyards in Henderson and dolphins are usually jumping out of the water in the fitting out basins.A lot of the boys go swimming and fishing during lunchtime.
