Default Being a bit 'towy'

I'd been here a while before I heard this one.

Any takers on what it exactly means? I think I know, just wondered what others thought.

That would certainly work. I thought it was a bit more some sort of 'attitude'.

Do I get a prize for starting a thread on something original and hitherto not discussed?

The one I'm not sure about is "cactus". I don't know if it means knackered or in bother. I also can't figure out if it's rhyming slang or not.

I don't think I've heard towy before.

"catcus" can mean both of these.
"towy" I've always understood it to mean irritable or testy.
However, as in UK, words can mean different things in different places - as I have found to my acute embarassment!

Irritable/testy sounds a good fit.

In the lawnmower context, it could mean that it accelerates very quickly. Think I've heard it used in that way in regard to cars and motorbikes.

Put "anticipatory" into a meaningful sentence for me, and I'll give you some karma and withdraw my jeer unreservedly!
