The one I'm not sure about is "cactus". I don't know if it means knackered or in bother. I also can't figure out if it's rhyming slang or not.

I thought it was short for Toe Rag ie she is a bit towy - poor, unkempt, slovenly, common

I don't think I've heard towy before.
"towy" I've always understood it to mean irritable or testy.
However, as in UK, words can mean different things in different places - as I have found to my acute embarassment!
