The one I'm not sure about is "cactus". I don't know if it means knackered or in bother. I also can't figure out if it's rhyming slang or not.

I thought it was short for Toe Rag ie she is a bit towy - poor, unkempt, slovenly, common

"catcus" can mean both of these.
"towy" I've always understood it to mean irritable or testy.
However, as in UK, words can mean different things in different places - as I have found to my acute embarassment!

Worrying our ride on lawnmower salesman kept using the word, shes toey mate, now have horrible vision of herby the horny ride on mower.

Irritable/testy sounds a good fit.

In the lawnmower context, it could mean that it accelerates very quickly. Think I've heard it used in that way in regard to cars and motorbikes.

I was going to jeer "boring" for just googling the answer but I did take a look.

Wouldn't take that as a definitive source. Never heard it used in that context here - and I've been here a while.
