"I've lived in England for a few years and watching Wales from the outside has been embarrassing. The false nationalism and petty disregard for the English is unnecessary.

Every time I go home, it's more and more Welsh. We take our nationality too seriously and wear it on our sleves too much. The only reason theEnglish don't do this is because they are secure in their Nationality. They have no need to show it off and proclaim to the World their nationality in the same Wales does. Nothing to prove I guess. The sooner Wales find's security it's nationality, the sooner we can retrieve some esteem."

I also it found it funny when he slagged off Wales that he went on to say I will be proud of Australia - now this is odd to me, he can't know how he will feel, he is not an Australian. Going by his posts I have seen, he looks to know nothing about being in Australia, or being an Australian ( I think it was him that once asked what the weather was like)

Cheers ( just editied it to put this smiley thing on ..lol I wanted to be obvious this time)
Nitpicking here but actually I think you will find that Diddy said "I suspect I will be proud of Australia".

personally I think you are applying double standards (but then thats the job of us females should make you very good at the politics ) cos diddy is telling the way it is for him/her just as you are telling it the way it is for you. Both views IMHO are equally valid given your different circumstances and experiences.

Hope you enjoy wales when you get back. Guess that day cant come soon enough for you.
