Before we go...
Is there anything about the place I need to know apart from the obvious...
The locals don't mix with poms
The summers are too damn hot
There's no *real* pubs and the beers piss
If the snakes don't get me, the spiders will
The schooling is shite, my kids will be retarded at 15
The *Great Whites* will have me if I venture out of my depth
House prices are spiralling out of control
I'll never find a decent builder
It's toooootal gridlock at 5pm
The salaries are gash
The hours are too long
I'll never get a job
If I don't buy a ute I'll never fit in
An Aussie's barbie is bigger than your barbie
It takes ages to get anywhere...the country was MUCH bigger than I thought
Stamp duty and taxes on everything...literally everything
I mean...I know they're the good points, that's why we've applied... but does anyone have any bad experiences that may put us off ?
