beauty licence

beauty licence
Can anyone tell me if you need a licence to be a beauty therapist/nail tech. I have all my english certs but found out that most trades including hairdressing dont mean much and you have to resit exams to get a licence just wondered if the same applied for beauty therapy. Even just to use the wholesalers you need a licence in th UK you have to take your certs in to join the wholesalers so thought that could do this in oz to but does not seem like. Can any hair beauty or nail techs advise me please? from Laine.

you might find this site of interest. My wife is a nail Tech as well, and there are quite a few on this site from Oz that can give you some guidance in what you need.
