I didn't find this summer in Perth hot at all...

I suppose some people might consider one day in three over 35c as not hot. I'm not one of them.

Collaroy Beach is just one of many in Sydney that has a cafe right on the beachfront. Others that spring to mind are Redleaf, Clovelly, Clontarf and Tamarama., to name just a few.

Is it really true?
or that you have a good example for such place.

Thanks.
There are thousands all over Australia. Really your mate is spouting drivel

I don't know how you can cope with a week or more of 40 degrees in WA. We had one day like that in Sydney this year, still 39 deg at 2am. The next week another 40+ day was forecast so I booked us into a hotel! (We don't have air con).

Oh yes and to the thread, plenty of beach cafes. We like getting a takeout coffee and taking it to beach too, in milder weather or evenings /mornings that is.

In 8 years here I can't tell you when this happened. A few days of 40 has happened but not a week. Plus it's quite a dry heat so is, IMO, easier to cope with.

It felt like 40+ all summer to me! I know it wasn't, but it was one of hottest summers on record and I felt every bit of it.

BermudaShorts, if we weren't going to retire in the UK we'd move down to Albany, it always seems to be 10 degrees cooler than Perth. Laughing at you booking into a hotel, ya wuss
