Collaroy Beach is just one of many in Sydney that has a cafe right on the beachfront. Others that spring to mind are Redleaf, Clovelly, Clontarf and Tamarama., to name just a few.

Hi all,
Just a small funny question
My friend is living in Australia, and he claims that there is no Coffee house on the beach anywhere in Australia, so you can drink your coffee and watch and hear the ocean (coffee house with sea view from long distance doesn't count).
Is it really true?
or that you have a good example for such place.
Thanks.

Oh yes and to the thread, plenty of beach cafes. We like getting a takeout coffee and taking it to beach too, in milder weather or evenings /mornings that is.

I don't know how you can cope with a week or more of 40 degrees in WA. We had one day like that in Sydney this year, still 39 deg at 2am. The next week another 40+ day was forecast so I booked us into a hotel! (We don't have air con).

BermudaShorts, if we weren't going to retire in the UK we'd move down to Albany, it always seems to be 10 degrees cooler than Perth. Laughing at you booking into a hotel, ya wuss
