FFS It`s a tv programme - watch it don`t watch it - it doesn`t matter just go out there and live your lives and let others live theirs. After the events of this weekend I`d have thought people would have more prespective on things than having petty arguments over a tv programme.

I agree, what is wrong with BMW? I know they own the road and indicators come as an extra, but please - I would be hurt if I was not an Ex-BMW owner and not a current one, anyway with my move down-under I think it would be my duty to get a Holden - but then that opens a whole new area of discussion...

All the best

Nothing wrong with BMW, very good cars. I have owned a couple, a 5 series and a new Mini (mind you that was a company car in my last job).

I said I have prejudices against BMW drivers, some tailgate, whizz right up to your back bumper, flash their lights, see them on the mobile phones as well. I know other people who drive other cars do the same, my mate hates Audi drivers but like I say it can't stand BMW drivers, especially X5 drivers! Can I justify this prejudice? Of course not but it makes me feel better.

I'm a copper so woe betied a BMW driver who upsets me

Ok guys, I have only skimmed through the last few pages. Can't be bothered reading it in explicit detail cos it just seems like a huge complicated opinionated mess.

THIS IS A WANTED DOWN UNDER THREAD!!!!

And in the last 5 pages I have seen a rare mention of the show. So come on, get back on track. All you guys arguning about race and god knows what else, use your private messages please, we don't want to read a big argument between two or three people, cos lets face facts, nobody on a forum will ever change anyone's ethics about racism or god knows what else. It's just one big argument that (other than the people having it) nobody wants to read.

Sorry if people disagree with me, but I found this entire website on a search for more info about the show. The last thing we want is more newbies turning up to this site after immigration info and ending up slap bang in the middle of unrelated ethical arguments.

I know the conversation is drifting back to WDU, but everytime I check for new messages its gone completely off-topic again.

. . . . so what does everyone think of todays show? I notice Nadia had a new necklace today, and the baby boy was so cute chewing on the watch (awwwwwwww)

Hi all.
The misses and I have been discussing a move to Oz for a while now and WDU has just spurred us on even more. Instead of just talking about it we're gonna finally do something about it. I've read pretty much every comment on this thread (Wow, took some time and there are some very interesting comments) and realise that many of you have a lot to offer in the way of info on visa's, areas, agents etc.
Could anyone please point us in the right direction on how to get started. Do we apply for a visa first?, do we assign a agent first. We would appreciate your comments.

Many thanks

Lee & Lisa

I haven't been through the process, but i think you have to apply for a TRA first. it has more info about visa's on the department of immigration website;

http://www.immi.gov.au/

You don't have to employ an agent, I suppose it's easier but more costly. There's enough info on this site to do it yourself, and if there's anything you're stuck on, there's always someone here that should be able to help.

hi
i liked the couple in this mornings show.
i find the conversion of aus$ dollar priced houses in ukĀ£ really strange at not at all constant - or is it just me.
i also wonder why the families are offered 3 life choices and are obviously going to be sent to the same house whatever the choice and only go to the chosen area for the job - its not really an example of the lifestyle choice they have chosen.
i mean todays family didn't chose the city option but ended up renting a small house in Sydney and thus not really "experiencing"their life choice - this isn't the first time it has happened
but other than that it makes ppleasantwatching - although at a stupid time - i mean aren't we all supposed to be out doing the jobs that are wanted down under not watching daytime TV

Because they think it encourages young people to drink.Just like covering up the brands of cigarettes so they are not on view, it may encourage them to smoke. (QLD) It must be the nanny state of Australia from what I see it seems to make very little difference.
