We caught some of a drama about Israel/Palestine last night? It was very good.

East West 101 on SBS is the best Australian drama series IMO.

Did you notice the clans man radios that were made in the 1960's and the maglite torch the sergeant used on the beach?

I didn't no. We only watched some of it and I was not sure what decade it was set in. The Israeli army uniforms looked pretty modern.

Set in two time zones, 1945-7 and present day. It's running up to the King David bombing and the murder of the two Sergeants.

Lots of complaints about bias towards the Arabs. I'm hoping the do a follow up on Aden to provide a balance. Bet they don't.....

Watched this the other night... Based on a true story as well. Mesrine public enemy no 1 A French Gangster from the 70's, Gripping Movie. Definitely one of the best Gangster movies I've seen.

Mesrine is excellent. Just watching La Haine actually. Have you watched Spiral? Great French police thriller.

Nope but I'm going to line them up....So thanks for the tip

Watched Le Cage Aux Folles (1978) on the weekend... was really looking forwards to it, as it was mentioned in plenty of great French Movies lists. Ended up disappointed as I felt it was overacted,. I guess the comedy didn't translate well.. Probably was a great movie for it's time. Left me cold and the Wife fell asleep which is always a barometer. Not the outcome I hoped for on one of our only two nights of each week together.

I watched Transformers Dark of the Moon. It was crap but there was a smoking hot English 'actress' in it.
