Bankrupt!??
can i enter australia after having being bankrupt in the UK?
MY PARTNER IS THE MAIN APPLICANT ON THE VISA ?? ANY HELP PLEASE MUCH APPRECIATED

this has been discussed quite a bit recently. Would suggest that you do a search of the forum for "bankrupt" and read the previous responses.
In general, it shouldn't be a problem.

:dJust to let you know my husband is main applicant for our visa application and he was made "bankrupt" nearly 4yrs ago, when we first wanted to apply we asked our Migration Company if this would be a problem, they said as long as we were not planning to run a business straight away when we got there that it does not make any difference to application. We have just been asked for medicals/police checks so upto now all seems to be fine fingers crossed anyway, hope this helps.
