Baggage Allowance

Hi All

Please can anybody tell us which airlines give you double baggage allowance for a one way ticket to Oz.

Hi, Mike & Karen

We used Singapore Airlines from Heathrow to Perth - one-way ticket. They gave us double baggage allowance 40 kg each - so 2 adults + 2 children = 160 kg + hand luggage allowance 5kg each! We used all our allowance and were glad of the extra the only problem was handling all the luggage 9 suitcases and 2 young children - nightmare!!!

Quantas will give you 40kg if you are a customer of the Commonwealth Bank Australia

Fly via the US and get something like 60kg's EACH. A little bit further to fly but you can always have a stopover in Hawaii.
