You can quote us something from the article, so we have a clue....

There is also to be a greater emphasis on the need for children to be allowed to learn more through guided play in Year 1 of [UK] primary school.

Just that Australian schools have always emphasised learning through play at an early age - unlike UK schools.

(Trouble is they tend to emphasise this at senior level also)
