Australian Driving Licences Query!!!!
Hi
ive got a full uk driving licence and i intend to go to WA, if i take my theory test and pass, i would get a WA driving licence,.
so my question is, if after time you moved to another part of Aus say QLD or NT etc.. would the WA licence be valid and if so for how long.

the rule is if you move to another state another licence is required
for that state. 3 months grace period is the usual but there is nothing stopping you from waiting untill the previous one runs out
untill you do.

if you move from one state to another, do you have to sit a new test to get the new state's dricing licence? Or is it just an administrative thing?

I think in some other states you have to do the practical as well as the theory test .

so if i were to overstay the 3mths in another state,
am i right in thinking that i would have to take the new states driving exam, be it theory,practical or both or would ithere just be an admin charge to change the WA licence across to the new state where i am residing?
i hope you get what im trying to ask
