What a nail biting morning staring at the BBC webpage, watching the updates from the Telstra stadium.
And what a fantastic result. A sports loving team like Australia deserves a place in the World Cup - and now at least all Federations have an entry, a true World Cup.
I arrive in Australia in May and personally I am really happy cos it probably means more coverage of the tournament and a better atmosphere in the pubs at 4 in the morning, And another team to cheer on - until the face the English.
Cheers, SS
PS I'm a bit surpised there hasnt already been a thread about this from an Aussie
