If you're concerned about snow & cold, the weather in Canada is soooo different from one end to the other. Vancouver (BC) winter weather is very mild, the odd snowfall...but of course it rains a lot.

What country do you come from??- I found you statement to be very offensive- I am a UK born muslim who now live in Canada- one of the precise reasons why I left the UK was due to the xenophobic attitude to muslim that prevails- Christians are not any more civilised & have killed more innocent women & children then could ever be measured, and you shouldn't always believe what you read in the press.

My experience of Canada is restricted to Vancouver- Great views- suffers from the same problem that any big city experiences- cost of living is expensive- if you have a good income- then alot to enjoy- we have come over & income is better than UK- Housing is expensive but is going to come down as with most countries. Weather is not bad, have had a reasonable summer and temp still high- 27 degrees

Grumpy's statement was nonsense anyway - obviously only repeating rumours. I was living there at the time - and of course he was not threatened with beheading. The men were caught and jailed.
