Some properties will go up slightly, some will come down slightly. Some may go up a lot, others may come down a lot. Hope that helps

Chill. Nobody knows what is going to happen - despite what all the 'experts' on here say.

Whatever happens is out of our control. Nothing you do will have an influence so there is no use worrying about it.

Property should always be seen from a long term viewpoint. I believe that in 10 years time houses will cost a lot more than they do today. If they do not, then something fundamentally bad will have happened to our economy and house prices will be the least of your worries.

no need to chill my friend but there was no need for your 'who cares' comment. You could say that about any question asked on this forum...so we may as well all pack up and shut the site down!
The timing of buying/selling a house is of fundamental importance to your financial position...its all in the timing.

Who knows, no-one knows, not even the experts. We will all have to wait and see. That is the only way.

Personally if i saw a house that i liked, then i would buy it.

my non-expert opinion.

Large falls almost everywhere, until the median property price mortgage per month is very close to the rental rate for the property.

So I think there is a long way to go down. $500K median down to $300K median. This assumes no massive inflationary rise in wages to raise rents.

This timescale will depend upon how many distressed sellers there are.

2 cents......

Fair enough. For 'who cares' read 'I don't care'.
