Arriving in Jan 2005 and dont know where to live
Hi everyone,
We (wife and I) have travelled Oz quite extensively and, like most, love Sydney but feel its too expensive. We are thinking of settling in Perth but arent sure what the job situations like there. I sell IT/new media and the wife sells laproscopic medical equipment. anyone got any advice or useful recruitment agencies that they can throw our way.
Thanks

- quite a few tech. recruiters in Perth - search "Perth + jobs + recruiters"
I have a well cared for 3 x bed detached property in the Northern suburbs of Kingsley, Perth.
Excellent location for commuting and close to all amenities, large Brit. community as well.
Tenants vacating 1st March - if you are looking for a hassle free economical rental prop.
email me if you need advice / help on settling in Perth.

There are plenty of tech jobs in Melbourne, (I worked there for two three month stints over the last 2 years). Its second only to Sydney for IT jobs. Unfortunately, its also second only to Sydney in house prices. We initially thought of moving to Melbourne (we are both in IT), but after a few months of house viewings, were put off by the small land sizes, and expensive houses.
Cheers,
JTL
