Hi All,
My partner and I lodged our EOI just over two weeks ago and are hoping to fly out in November this year.
Does anyone know of any temporary migrant accommodation in Gold Coast. We are not sure on which area of the Gold Coast we want to live in so would like a 1 - 2 month rental which would allow us to sort everything and decide on an area.
Also, can anyone recoomend a Bank for Gold Coast as I am aware you can only get cash out of Your Banks's ATMs? So a bank with a lot of ATM's in the Gold Coast would be prefferable.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks All,
Josh

Thanks for Response. I know ATM's only give cash
. What I meant was that you can only get your cash out of an ATM that belongs to your bank. That i what I have been told but if that incorrect then it makes it much easier.

Some of the larger banks form alliances with another, so for example if you are a member of Barclays in the UK you can take money out of a Westpac ATM and they waive the £1.50 withdraw fee but still charge you 2.99%? (What is the Global Alliance of cash machines? | Barclays) Is that what you mean?

I haven't used an ATM for years.
I get all my cash from the supermarket when I pay with my card.
Don't worry about having an account with the bank with the most ATMs. Just get your cash when you buy your groceries.

If you search on Google with this "short term accommodation gold coast" you will get heaps of websites.

I hate, hate, hate having to pay a few bucks to withdraw money from an ATM. Woolworths automated check outs let you get cash back without needing to make any purchases and that's free.
Any of the big 4 banks will have a fair amount of ATMs around the Gold Coast i.e. Commonwealth Bank, Westpac, ANZ, NAB. I know ANZ have an app that shows you the nearest ATMs. I suspect the other banks may have similar apps.
ING had an account where you can use anyone's ATM without having to pay an extra fee. Maybe worth a look.
