But if everyone complained when it happens then they will start having to believe the customer. Why don't you cc the CEO of the company in on another letter to them. Saying what happened and saying that they didn't belive you.

What has happened to the "The customer is always right"

Our packers purposefully waited to pack whatever we wanted till the last minute at the end. We weren't taking the kettle but it would have included this had we wanted to!!!

we complained also, but it was not the fault of the packers I know this because it was stuff that I had packed myself under the eyes of the packers and sealed them up myself. the container was then sealed, therefore I can only assume that it was at this end that stuff went a miss....you knew the boxes that customs had been in cos it was different tape they used to seal em up

hi Lucy. Sorry some of your stuff went missing, but unfortunatley we also had things missing aswell as stolen from the shipping company we used. I did post a thread on here about a month ago to let people know what happened. Our goods were stolen by an employee of Crown before they shipped them out. These goods were Fire-arms. On arrival of our furniture we noticed Snap-On tools were missing, Vacuum cleaner. At first we thought Crown couldn't be bothered with this matter...but back in UK the C.I.D got involved and arrested an employee of Crown who packed our stuff and he has been charged with theft and handling Fire-arms without a licence. That is good news for us as we knew all along that it must have been the crew that packed our stuff. But bad news that out stuff has gone and it could and will happen to others. Hope this helps that things do go missing wether stolen or lost in transit. We have claimed for everything and Crown are now being very helpful.

Don't worry the packers always ensure the kettle & mugs are the last things to be packed and the first to be unpacked.

One tip, ensure that they put plenty of wrapping round chair legs or any paintwork, vanish or wooden finish will get chipped and scratched.

Happy packing. :)

hi all

looking round my house i dont think i have too much to send over..ie suite and bed mainly and some kitchen equipment. Other than that its just personal stuff and work related books (im a teacher).

My problem would be making a list then forgetting where i put the list. (im always forgetting to log out of this site.. )

Maybe I could list all the things on a computer fob, any other suggestions.

regards

lolly
