I certainly would not be bothered about eating cod,haddock or plaice, besides it is not just about the food, where does it stop, if you go to the costas or benidorm, it is more like uk then spain

I've found the fish to be fine over here so quite happy not to have Cod but I do miss UK chip shop chips! The ones here are too dry and perfect you need a little bit of grease to make them all squishy....not quite sure how to describe it!
The other irritating thing here is that everything is cooked to order so even if you pop in just for chips you have to wait an age. We will try you Rossi as we are in the area but we normally have fish and chips on Mt Martha beach and made the grave mistake of not pre-ordering and I had to wait an hour!!!! Poor hubs was the last person on the beach by the time I got back!
Another irritating thing is that most fish n chip places shut by 8 even in mid summer! Quite often we have wanted a take away later and nothings been open, it's even quite hard to get a coffee in Mornington after 4 - do these people not want custom!
Good luck but I can't see even Brits paying over the odds for Cod (poetic!) but a bit of scampi would be nice!
