Default Anyone live in Berwick or surrounding area?

Hi
My husband and I moved to Berwick 4 months ago from the UK, and we are finding it hard to meet new friends to socialise with, go the pub, bbq's.

Are there any expat meetings held locally we can get involved in? We are both in our 30's and would love to hear from anyone in a similar situation

Hi,

We are moving to Berwick from the UK arriving 8th November. We are both 37 and have 3 daughters 8,10 and 11. There are lots of British people in Berwick, the Lindsay Clan have just moved into a house in Berwick, you can find them on this site or on Britvics.

Where abouts in Berwick do you live?

Tracy

Hi and welcome to Berwick

We are about 20 mins from Berwick and in the early 30's. We do have young kids though so that puts a bit of a stop on the evenings out - boo hoo

As for a bbq I am sure that there are plenty of us who are up for one

Hi there

We are in Berwick close to Narre Warren but we have 2 children which means we cant go out in the evening without the cost of babysitters and so forth. As we haven't been here long babysitters are not on our lists at the moment as we don't know of any. I'm in my 30's but hubby has gone past his!!!!

A right little colony aren't we!!! If no one else organises anything then I will when I get there in November. It will of course we open to ALL not just residents of Berwick and Beaconsfield, after all the aim is for us all to make some friends!!

See you soon.

Sounds good let us know when you want to arrange something, the place Bordy mentioned Cardinia is an outdoors park/pinic area. But there are places in Berwick to meet like Costellos (they have a play area for the kids) if the weather isn't great.

Cheers
