Hi Millsey,
welcome to the Bundy thread.
Weve been to Bundy 3 times and have only drove in what we call rush hour traffic a couple of times. it gets busy but no where near as busy as UK. You seem to keep moving but not quite at the snails pace like here !
it takes about 15-20 mins to get into Bundaberg from Bargara theni suppose you would have to add on another 15 mins for traffic.
there is a member on here called kevnew1 you should pm him they are renting in Bargara and travel into Bundy they will know more than me.

have you a job to go to? im a nurse and will be working at the friendlies society private hospital.we have friends out there thats who we have visited 3 times and fell in love with Bundy and Bargara.
have you any contacts out there?

Good to here another person heading to Bundy we leave uk 8th Jan.
arrive in Bndy 10th. we know a couple more familiesheading out there from wales so there wil be a nice littlepommie ommunity. we also met a pomm family while there inFeb.

cheers
Teryna

Well you know me and my family now
Im 45 and a nurse as i said .
my hubby is 43 and a manager at the moment but doesnt want to be once we are out there.
We have a 21 yr old daughter Lucy and an almost 19 yr old son Richard.
He is going to do an apprenticeship when we get there.
Lucy wants to come back and go to un, she has a boyfriend of 6yrs so we think thei bit is just an excuse!!

What about you?
How did you come to chose Bundy?
have you a job

The one couple had her visa granted thurs she applied April. They have a 16 yr old too.
Its exciting and reassuring that there will be others going through what we are going through.

Our freinds out there have theyre own business panel beater an sprayers.
hes a pomm been there something like 17 yrs!
I dont think you will have trouble getting work there are plenty of new builds going on.

I am right in Bundaberg at the moment (moving to Innes Park in Dec) but as far as I know the traffic coming into Bundaberg in the mornings is n't bad at all, we don't really have 'traffic jams' as such in Bundy (well not by U.K. standards anyway )

Hope you get your visa through soon.

GOOD LUCK with the move,

Sharron
