Hiy there, we live in Fife in Scotland and are heading to Perth at the end of April, not a mum though unless you count the dog!!!. Time is just flying past, what with organising furniture removals, exporting the precious pooch etc. Loved Joondalup and the surrounding suburbs - stayed in Currambine and Carramar the last couple of times we visited, but then again neither of us are exactly party animals, but of course being scottish we do like a drink!!!

Actually changing our minds ... Perth was very attractive due to house prices, not so anymore.... Adelaide and Melbourne are out because of the drug and gang problems they both have. Sydney is way to expensive.... so... we're thinking of Gold Coast or Brisbane.

really tempted to go for a town some where, tweed head, or noosa etc....

ah well we're off as soon as we decide

Ah well, can understand where you're coming from - this is a discussion we have also had due to increasing cost of houses in Perth - might never be able to afford to buy!!!. Good luck with whatever you decide on though.

House prices have definitely cooled here. Properties are still on the market after a couple of months, vendors taking offers and prices are more reasonable. Some things we saw in the early days were just not worth the money
