Just wondering if anyone out there/already out here is from cumbria?? particularly south cumbria??
we have been in brisbane for 2 years now and have also lined in Oxfordshire.

Have been here for 5 weeks now and not missing cumbria at all. Only missing family and friends and hubby missing the mountains!! Give me the sea any day.

Hi Im still in Cumbria. The weather u missed in January was unbelievable 125mph winds and 5 foot floods. I envy u guys already out there. Where abouts in Brisbane are you?

We were still there when the storms hit, wow a few sleepless nights, lost so many tiles from the roof and thought we would end up with a tree through the house. Fixed the roof and left the house on the market moving up to sunshine coast on monday yipeeee, just had 3 viewings on the house and one really interested!! Brisbane is Great but i'm not a city girl so sunshine coast here we come.

wow i didnt think there was anyone from cumbria on here thanks for your replys!!. I was from ulverston, do you know it??.
we are now in south brissie and have been here for over 2 years.
