Jesus Christ that thing ought to wear a leather jacket and steel toe caps and call himself 'Nobby'.

Dont know what kind it is though but he has my respect in 'the hood'.

Re: Anybody?

After researching, it looks like a Garden Orb spider.

"Garden Orb Weaving Spiders are common in gardens during summer. They build their webs in the evening and before daylight will sometimes eat the web, then hide all day.

They are non-aggressive and low risk to humans but walking into a web at night can cause panic, especially if the spider is on your face."

Looks like a garden orb weaving spider - pretty harmless though may give you a bit of fright if you walk into its web at dusk!

It's a Garden Orb Weaver of some sort, though I don't know which species. The hairy legs are characteristic of this group.

Penny unsubscribes from this thread, blocks all emails and PMs from Tony and blocks him on FB. :sneaky:

OK I'm sorry. I'll post two instead just in case one dies, and they can keep each other company.

They'll both die. Be very very sure of that.
