Were you Softies able to find work relatively easily in Oz? And did any of you manage to secure a job before actually moving over?

I'm looking to move in July/August time and I am currently trying to use Hays IT, BBT, and a company called Workforce Solutions to circulate my CV to companies. Hays initially looked promising but then failed to call me when arranged - hey, a bit like most of the recruitment agencies in the UK (including my mate)! I'm sceptical that there are companies willing to employ someone based on a telephone conversation - certainly in our line of work.

I'd be interested to know how you got on.
