Any bedsits or small flats to let around or in melboure?
hi guys,
just enquiring about cheap properties to rent in melboure? im moving out in november just wanted to know what kind of price i will be looking at, do i need to find work first? ect. And is there anyone out there that could point me in the right direction. Any info will be very much apperciated.

A lot of the cheap accommodation around Melbourne is reserved for students only and ordinary folk have to pay quite a bit more.
If you have a look at domain.com.au and realestate.com.au at rentals in Melbourne, Melbourne West, Melbourne East, Fitzroy, North Melbourne, Richmond, South Yarra, these areas are popular with singles.

You would be looking at $200- $300 (or even more depending on what you want) per week.
Gumtree website and adverts in shops are also good for private ads.
If you applied through a real estate agent they will collect a number of applications up to send to the landlord which means that you are likely to be in a better position if you have the job already. Depends on who else applies.
