I just don't get it.!! why are people not paitent? phoning Adelaide means they have to employ someone to sit on the phone to answer queries. That person would be better employed in the application process.

We applied, then had an acknowledgment and heard nothing else for a year, which is what it said could happen in the application. Our whole process took 2 years!!

Paitence people. :D :D :D

What Adelaide should do is provide a web based tracking system. It could save a lot of time on both sides.

My concern was that everything had reached them ok...... there are 7 ov us in this family which means alot of money down the drain if the meds go walkabout!!! Please refrain with the knockin!!!

Oh well!

Just for reference for other people who may be reading this thread, the post office do an international signed for delivery service so you can be reassured that your item has been delivered.

Might be a better option that the delivery service Boomie used. Could save all that anguish and calls to Adelaide! :D

Checkout http://www.postoffice.co.uk/portal/p...&catId=5000003

or ParcelForce do the same kind of thing with free online confirmation of delivery or proof of delivery for an additional charge. http://www.parcelforce.com/portal/pw...&catId=4800007 with additional compensation up to £2,500. ;)

Is it right that your validation date is usually so many months after the start date of your police checks? Only I have already got my police checks, for another reason, and was hoping to use them for Oz if they are still valid. But for obvious reasons we need a bit of time before we go

you get 12 months from the date of your police checks or meds which every you did first to validate........

un less you have a medical problem...... then u have to do an undertaking....... this means you have 6 months
