Well just got back from a visit to airpets and i must say that i was very impressed by the friendliness of the staff.
Took our dog jazz so that they could measure her to give a more accurate quote as their original quote was for £529. more than overhill kennels.
Turned out their new quote wasonly £110. more than overhill and this is because they will give her a kennel two inch taller and longer than what overhill quoted and to be honest we have decided to pay the extra and give her that extra room so she can stand and lie a little bit more comfy.
They showed us the wooden kennels that she would go in and really took the time to answer all our questions.
Also there was many airplanes going overhead really loud and low and our dog just wasnt bothered at all and that really put my mind at rest that she would be ok.
So if you want a quote from them and you are near take your pet and get them to do the measuring for a more accurate quote because catherine (staff there) said they would take the measurements you do and then with the breed of dog they come up with what they think the dog will need space wise, which in my case was a lot less than they though! well worth a trip.
So end quote £2291. for 2yr old GSD (petite)
Excluding permit as we already have.
Hope this will help someone.

Just wanted to add that we have also found the Airpets staff very friendly and incredibly helpful.
Our cat's flight and quarantine place had been booked for months. Then at the last minute our house sale fell through and everything, including the cat's flight etc, had to be cancelled.
Airpets were great! There wasn't even an admin charge. And they've straightaway booked the next available quarantine place for our cat even though we haven't yet got a new buyer for the house (i.e. the new date may end up cancelled as well).
We are not allowed to mention names on this forum, but the lady dealing with our cat is really very helpful and nice.

I can endorse airpets. They were great and also helped us when the day we were due to fly it was found out that our completely useless tosser of vet hadnt read the printed instructions I gave her and forgot to give a jab. They kept our dog there and updated us every day as to progress and since Max was there for a month they had him in the office with them
The facilities are very impressive indeed.

We used Airpets to bring our cat out to Sydney and we were very pleased with them as well.

Hi
We have booked out 2 cats with Airpets, they fly in October.
It's reassuring to read positive comments about them.
