We should know the answer to this as we have been investigating for past two years ,but....... is it just the main applicant that has to be under 45years old, or does this include anyone on the application, i.e spouse.
Just something wife had read that got her thinking. cheers

It's only the main applicant unless you want to claim 5 points for a skilled spouse in which case they have to fulfil the basic requirements too

Thanks for that, sigh of relief... we have an article that says all persons on application must be under 45... so we have another 8 years to make our minds up...... yipee

If you're eligible to apply (and keen) then definitely don't plan to wait 8 years or anything close to that - a lot will change in that time and you will still lose points for age even if you don't turn 45.
