Hi, I wonder if you can help me again!
My husband and I are having a disagreement over whether the children should be here when the shippers arrive to pack up.
NB. The children are 8,6,5,3.
We have two choices to book shipping during term time or the following week when term finishes. Do any of you good people have advice as to whether it's too stressful with the children around? Or is it good for the children to be involved? What are your experiences?
Thanks for your help!

I got the packers to come after we'd dropped them at school, then they went to friends to tea that day. The 2nd day same thing and by the time they came back it had all gone. I took photos of the container with our stuff being packed so they could see what had happened.
Also one point is that you have to be very clear with the packers what in each room is going. If you've got kids wandering around potentially moving things that you did or didn't want packed it might cause a problem.
Good luck!

Hi we didn't have our kids there. We did prepare them as I think it was a big deal coming home and finding lots of boxes and then the next day it was all gone. I would have found it impossible having the kids there to deal with aswell as the packers (although it wasn't as stressful as i thought it would be as by the time the packers arrived we had everything organized).
