my OH had 2 kids at the Royal North Shore in St Leonards (lower north shore).
Both times there were no problems and the service provided was excellent.
I can't comment on any other hospitals, good luck

This forum is good for advice.http://www.essentialbaby.com.au/foru...p?showforum=44

I'll be at the RPA as it's next door so I've not really researched (just plain lazy), but I found this site

Westmead Hospital is basically in Parramatta.

We used the children's hospital part when we lived there, and were pretty happy with them.

Nepean Hospital if you are a bit further west.

My wife was happy with Nepeans pre birth services. But ended up in UK for the actual birth

Westmead is OK. Or the Royal Prince Alfred in the city, where we had our second. The hospital system here we found to be a lot better than the UK (sorry, NHS ...) and all on Medicare. The GP system for new mums is not so good, however - you're pretty much on your own, no nurses, health visitors etc.
