Is it difficult to find IT Job
Hi,
I am planning to move to Melbourne next march and would be looking for a job IT. Although would be looking at other jobs until I could get one in IT. I am web developer with skills in PHP, MySQL etc.
I realise you have to be in Australia to get interviews etc, but is it easy to get interviews for jobs or has the market slowed.
Also how difficult is it to get any kind of job just to get money coming in.
Any information would be greatly appreciated

There are definately jobs going around in IT. It's just harder than 2 years ago to get interviews etc. I would suggest looking for contract work when you are here initially then maybe move to full time after that.
