Myself and family are hoping to relocate to Queensland on a skills visa, I am bricklayer by trade (25 years) but have spent the last 8 out of 10 years working my way up from foreman to Construction Director of a small Development Company, whilst i have no actual qualifications, ie Btecs etc, just the experience and recommendations from past employees. In fact i never finished my City and Guilds as i dropped out after 2 years (impatient to earn better money), what is my position, i am at present sole proprietor of a building contractors, which is what i was hoping to do in Oz, after reading some posts on this site, i feel it maybe a non starter. Is sponsorship a possible solution, ie: getting an Oz firm to give me a job before I relocate, cheers
