Advice!
Hi myself, my husband and 2 boys (currently aged 5 and 1) are in the process of applying to move to Australia....we are thinking Queensland. Has anyone got any advice? Especially the monthly cost of living for a famoly of four? Tips for schooling children. Job hunting....now vs when we get there...or anything else we might need to know.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Hi and welcome.
I've moved your post into our main section where it can be seen.
How far along the visa process are you?

Thank you so much! I am booking the skills assessment, so I can submit the EOI. Hopefully we will be invited for a visa.

Re: Advice!
Hi Siobhan,
Some of the answers to your questions may depend on where in Queensland you choose to live. Job availibility and accomodation costs are quite different across the state. Australia is an expensive place to live with housing being a big component of most peoples expenses.
My personal advice would be to live near where you think the jobs will be - and that depends on your skills/job history. It can be possible to find work from the UK but most people don't find work until they're on the ground.
Hope it all goes well.
