A question for all of you who have imported their pets, what address did you use for the Oz address when filling in the forms? We haven't got work yet so can't use that one. We have booked an apartment for our first three weeks their but they don't allow pets, even though we will have moved out of them by the time our cat will be delivered to us I don't want to ask if I can use their address in case they get the wrong idea and think that we will be having a pet there.
Any ideas?

How would they even know whether you have used their address?

We would have used the address of our temporary accommodation as it is the only one we had.

Just use it. I'm sure you won't be the first person to do something like this

We had our rental secured by the time we moved but I doubt we had it by the time we completed paperwork, so we probably gave the office address.

We used our temporary address and they didnt allow pets either. Once our dog had landed we phoned Spotswood to see how she was and gave them our new Oz mobile number although they could have still contacted us on our UK one.

When we moved into our rental we then updated our address with them, dont worry they are used to this.

We used my husbands work address and a friends phone number - then forgot to notify quarantine of our new phone numbers on arrival, so when our dog had lost some weight our friend got the phone call instead

If you havent got any contacts in Oz then just use the temp accomodation - it is just an address they will send the invoice to, the owners wont know you are using it for this, unless you move out before the invoice arrives. Our invoice arrived about two weeks into Barney's stay in quarantine (Sydney).
