We are due to arrive in Brisbane early Spetember and will be looking for somewhere to stay for a few days before moving into a rental property. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Also, what is people's experience about how long it has taken to get a longer term rental sorted?

You could try Brisbane Bound. Haven't stayed there personally but others have and reports are ok. Took us about 3 weeks to find a rental and ended up paying a bit more for one.
