Anyone fancy getting involved in 5-a-side football in Melbourne? I'm looking at setting up a team or maybe even 2 teams that can play each other. Whatever. It's a good way of getting to meet others so get your Adidas Sambas out and get in touch. Open to all abilities, I play in goal cos I'm shite anywhere else. I know there's an indoor court in Carlton but I'm sure there's loads across the city.
Hope to hear from you soon,
John

Hi John,
I'd be interested in joining a 5 a side team.

hey guys I could be interested.
The best place I know of is Albert Park Indoor Sports Centre, which is obviously in Albert Park. They also have 3 nights a week of 5 a side, where heaps of mixed, and teams play. you do like a round robin every 12 weeks and depending on your level you get put in a league, and then play every thursday night. its great fun, I have played in the top league and played in the lower ones and its all a good larf, and also most people dont take it that seriously.
ALOT of expats play here

Right, just waiting for a couple more confirmations but I've got 10-12 people interested and ready to start playing in the next couple of weeks. I've made a list but i've only got usernames so can you send me your real name and location on a P.M. please. I'll be in touch soon.

Loads of places around Melbourne. Remember it's called Futsal here more than 5 a side so any searches should be under that. I play both on a Monday evening at APISC as well as a Wednesday in northern suburbs for a different team.
